Discovering your resistance to failure and other toxic situations can be peacefully attained.

Today, more than ever, we see the issues with the world more openly than we ever had. The financial instability that is driving everyone to the extremes with getting things done is bothersome and has really pushed people’s mindsets to a point that we are seeing more openness when it comes to the mental health issues that many are dealing with. Suddenly there are tons of people wanting to become yoga instructors, reiki practitioners, and wellness products, developers. Many of them are capitalizing on the problem of mental health issues, while others are truly trying to offer a product that will provide help to the different things that are taking place in the world which causes these traumatic moments in our minds. Trauma, causes many different things to happen which causes these different types of mental health issues such as anxiety, PTSD, etc. So what do we do to help avoid some of these things from happening? Below we have listed five steps to discovering your fire — How to help reduce anxiety with your passion.

1. Identify Your Passion

The first thing to do is to find your passion and see what it is that you want to do. In addition, finding out what you want to do is something that you would do for the rest of your life and enjoy doing it while being able to create financial freedom from it. This many times can be the hardest step in the process of discovering your fire and many times it can take the longest time in the entire process. Once you have discovered that passion, then thoroughly think about why it is something that you wouldn’t mind doing on a day to day, generating income and creating freedom.

2. Teach Your Passion To Others

There is something therapeutic about teaching your passion to others. There is a sense of accomplishment, peace, and reward. For instance, a person who is an artist may find it therapeutic for them to create pieces of canvas artwork. However, they may find a slightly greater sense of peace and reward by teaching others how to also create pieces of art in a therapeutic manner. The ability to do this can serve a dual purpose of maintaining the fire for your passion after you’ve discovered it while also increasing your anxiety. The cool part to this is that you are more likely than not, going to find yourself falling in love with the fact that you are changing others’ lives through a passion in which you have found you yourself to have become great.

3. Continue To Hone Your Skills

Just as much as it is a wonderful feeling to teach the skills and abilities that you have to others, it’s just as important and worthwhile to continue to learn different ways in which the world of your passion is evolving and enhancing. There’s nothing more rewarding than taking a skill that you’re good at and improving it by getting more education so that you can continue to make an impact with those that you are teaching that same skill to. There are many different ways to hone your skillset. You have the ability to attend actual classes in person, see if there are online courses, listening to a podcast or watching youtube videos. It’s so much easier to continue to better your craft compared to 20 years ago, where it was almost, always guaranteed that you would end up in a library, at a school for a class or going through a certification program of sorts. Take advantage of the ease of access to information in today’s times.

4. Find A Problem And Create A Solution

There are many ways to find what your passion may truly be or just simply what you are possibly good at. One of the easiest ways is to ask yourself what problem in the world would you like to find a solution for? This is probably one of the easiest ways to get a direction in deciding what you may be passionate about. One thing for sure is that there is no shortage of problems that exist in the world. From hunger and homelessness to data mining and everything in between, there are a ton of issues that can give an opportunity for entrepreneurial success and calm while succeeding and solving a world problem. Just be sure that the problem that you are looking to solve truly sparks an interest with you and your passion. This will serve as a driving force and the money will be of no object because you are staying true to your craft and passion. Remember, stay true to your craft and everything else will fall into place.

5. Embrace Failure When It Shows Up.

So one of the most difficult things to do for many entrepreneurs, creatives, and passionate people in the world is to accept failure. Failing at anything can create a feeling of uneasiness and doubt. Doubt from failure can be very paralyzing and discouraging to those that are seeking to make that dream of theirs, that passion of theirs a reality. It can be a very difficult wave to overcome. It can push you to the brink of discouragement and even cause you to want to give up completely. However, I would suggest that you ask yourself if you have committed to being successful only to give up at the first sign of a challenge.

The question of whether a failure will show up or not is truly irrelevant. The answer is for certain yes, failure will find you and it will challenge you. The true measure of your ability to reduce your anxiety and continue to evolve yourself is based on the number of times you recover from the challenges that you are met with. The number of times you get up and decide that the knockdown is not going to stop you from your evolution. Through these moments you can find yourself embracing the failure and calming the anxiety that comes from it by doing breathing exercises, taking reflective walks and even speaking to small groups or up and coming entrepreneurs like yourself about the trials and tribulations that you have gone through. This isn’t just with the business but also with personal experiences. As we all know, our personal lives can impact our professional decisions and growth.

The tips above are just a few suggested ways of being able to deal with the challenges that may present themselves during the attempt to grow, create opportunity and security as you continue to pursue goals. I would love to hear more suggestions about what you do to handle stress and anxiety while pursuing your goals.
